This role:
  • Holds the rank of 1 stripe officer.
  • Is hired, scheduled and operationally managed by the Manager, Venue Operations.
  • Reports to the Audio Manager.
  • Double cabin (shared) w/private bath

Key Job Responsibilities
Every job requires flexibility, however your Key Job Responsibilities are to:
  • Operate the audio and lighting systems in shipboard Entertainment venues.
  • Provide mentorship and assistance to Production Assistants with regards to operating audio installations throughout the ship.
  • Provide technical support for various entertainment and revenue events, including setup and strike of stage settings in all Entertainment venues.
  • Ensure that "life" of the mix is foremost and that qualitative decisions are based on the needs of the performance with input from entertainment management. Walk the house frequently during rehearsals.
  • Adhere to development notes given by entertainment management.
  • Work with Performers to create a satisfactory monitor mix.
  • Maintain the inventory and storage of all audio equipment with the Audio Manager. This includes having working knowledge of alternate equipment to substitute when needed.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the repairs of equipment when necessary. Communicate all audio issues to the Audio Manager.
  • Always follow checklists and guidelines to ensure safety for performers, guests and crew.
  • Comply with all health, safety, security and environmental policies of the Company.
  • Advise and coordinate any additional audio needs in Entertainment venues for Charters and Groups.
  • Display impeccable dress sense and appearance.
  • Perform other job-related functions as assigned.
