TI DSP / Real-Time Systems & Audio Engineer
We are seeking an experienced TI DSP / Real-Time Systems & Audio Engineer to lead DSP subsystem bring-up, real-time audio pipeline enablement, and safety subsystem integration for the MediaTek C-X1 iRDK platform.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead bring-up and integration of the DSP subsystem and safety processor on the iRDK platform.
  • Own the real-time audio pipeline, including codec integration, Audio HAL development, latency characterization, and validation.
  • Integrate and validate safety subsystems, including lockstep cores, safety monitors, and FTTI analysis.
  • Serve as the primary technical interface for DSP firmware, development tools, and vendor support teams.
  • Validate real-time performance and audio quality against program acceptance criteria.
  • Document DSP, audio, and safety subsystem bring-up status for program reviews and milestones.
  • Perform hardware-level debugging and troubleshooting using JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of embedded software development experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with TI DSP platforms (C7xxx, C66x, or equivalent).
  • Strong expertise in RTOS environments such as TI SYS/BIOS, FreeRTOS, or similar.
  • Experience with audio subsystem bring-up, including ALSA, Audio HAL, codec integration, I2S, and SoundWire.
  • Knowledge of functional safety concepts, including lockstep architectures, self-test libraries, and FTTI modeling.
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++ for bare-metal and RTOS-based systems.
  • Experience with TI Code Composer Studio (CCS) and embedded development toolchains.
  • Strong hardware debugging skills using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG tools.
