Role Overview:

As an Audience + PRM Specialist, you will serve as the strategic lead across audience discovery, planning, activation, and measurement while also driving CRM and PRM optimization initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of data, strategy, and performance, ensuring that audience insights and first-party data translate into measurable business outcomes.


You will partner closely with brand, analytics, and external agency teams to develop integrated audience strategies and performance frameworks. In parallel, you will oversee CRM/PRM audits, optimization planning, testing strategies, and reporting to strengthen lifecycle marketing impact.


This role requires strong analytical thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to connect audience intelligence with marketing execution.



Key Responsibilities:


Audience Insight Discovery

  • Audit existing audience segments, first-party data sources, segmentation logic, and historical performance
  • Analyze first-party data to identify high-value cohorts and opportunity areas
  • Identify overlaps, gaps, and whitespace opportunities within audience ecosystems
  • Conduct competitive and social listening analyses to inform audience strategy
  • Synthesize research, performance data, and business objectives into actionable audience insights

Audience Planning

  • Lead annual audience planning in partnership with brand and agency teams
  • Translate business goals and campaign objectives into clear audience strategies
  • Develop segmentation frameworks aligned to brand priorities and customer journeys
  • Evaluate and approve audience strategies delivered by cross-functional partners
  • Align audience plans with broader marketing and measurement frameworks

Audience Activation

  • Partner with activation and media teams to define and deploy audience segments
  • Ensure alignment between segmentation strategy and campaign execution
  • Review audience selections within media plans to ensure consistency with strategic priorities

Audience Measurement & Optimization

  • Establish KPI frameworks to measure audience performance and business impact
  • Partner with analytics teams to track in-flight performance and identify optimization opportunities
  • Translate performance learnings into future-facing audience strategy recommendations
  • Deliver ongoing reporting and strategic updates to internal and client stakeholders

PRM / CRM Strategy & Optimization

  • Audit existing lifecycle marketing programs, including email flows, campaigns, and performance
  • Develop lifecycle marketing calendars and optimization roadmaps aligned to key KPIs
  • Partner with creative and activation teams to pilot and test enhanced PRM initiatives
  • Oversee QA, deployment coordination, and performance reporting
  • Explore and integrate emerging technologies, including AI applications, into lifecycle strategies

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership

  • Serve as a client-facing strategic partner, clearly communicating recommendations and insights
  • Participate in working sessions, planning discussions, and executive presentations
  • Proactively identify risks, surface opportunities, and drive forward momentum across workstreams
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in audience strategy, CRM/PRM strategy, lifecycle marketing, or data-driven marketing roles
  • Strong understanding of first-party data strategy, segmentation methodologies, and audience frameworks
  • Experience translating business goals into actionable audience and lifecycle marketing plans
  • Experience auditing and optimizing CRM/email programs
  • Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into strategic recommendations
  • Strong presentation and client communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
