Location: McLean, VA
Summary
Advanced Technology Systems Company (ATSC) has an exciting position for a Business Analysts at its headquarters in McLean, VA. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic team at a rapidly growing and highly successful company. ATSC provides our customers with unmatched value for fully integrated C5ISR systems that involve sensor integration, secure communication networks, command and control (C2), hybrid power generation systems for deployment of border/perimeter security and surveillance systems in locations that range from urban to austere environments. Additionally, the applications include counter-UAS detect, track, identify, and defeat systems.
The business analysts' role is to bridge the gap between execution teams and business/program targets. The focus of these positions is to gather requirements, analyze project data, track performance metrics, and document workflows to ensure success of projects that achieve outcomes aligned with the company's broader financial and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
  • Alignment of execution to business/program targets: Translate business/program needs into clear, measurable targets for execution teams.
  • Process Mapping: Document existing execution workflows, identifying areas to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze performance metrics (labor hours, scheduling, and resource utilization) to support execution decision-making. Provide visibility on key performance metrics.
  • Project Support: Assist program/project managers and functional leads by maintaining relevant documentation, generating reports, developing schedules, and tracking deliverables.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison across departments to ensure both business and execution teams understand business/program goals, timelines, and constraints.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Program/Project Management or a related STEM field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). Foundational knowledge of data visualization (Power BI, Tableau) or database concepts, and agile project management tools like Jira are a strong advantage.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing, supply chain, or product development life cycles, is highly valued.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
  • Work performed primarily in an office environment.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, climb stairs, use hands for computer input, and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to lift to 25 pounds as needed.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
