CFT Spa | Overview

CFT Spa is a supplier of turnkey systems for the entire food and beverage production process, from the reception of fresh produce to secondary packaging. The Group has approximately 900 employees and 15 brands.

Based in Parma (Italy), CFT designs and manufactures machinery and complete turnkey lines for the processing and packaging of food products such as tomatoes, fruit, formulated products, and beverages. Production activities are managed by the CFT Fabrication division in San Polo di Torrile (Parma), which guarantees a high level of organization and quality control procedures.

  1. Daily Operations Management
    1. Overseas all warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping
    2. Ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment
    3. Maintaining control over warranty issues (spare parts)
  2. Inventory Control
    1. Maintain accurate inventory records
    2. Responsible for annual physical inventory count
    3. Minimize stock discrepancies, shrinkage, and damage
    4. Coordinate stock replenishment and inventory optimization
  3. Logistics and Coordination
    1. Coordinate with suppliers, transport companies, and internal departments
    2. Schedule inbound and outbound shipments
    3. Resolve shipping or receiving discrepancies
    4. Handle import and export documents
  4. Health and Safety Compliance
    1. Ensure Compliance with workplace safety regulations (OSHA), government, and company policies
    2. Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse facilities
  5. Equipment and Facility Management
    1. Oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jacks etc.)
    2. Ensure facility security and proper storage conditions
  6. Customer Service and Problem Resolution
    1. Address order issues, returns, and customer complaints
    2. Ensure high accuracy and service levels in order fulfillment
  7. Budget and Cost Control
    1. Manage warehouse operational costs
    2. Monitor supplies and equipment expenses
  8. Others
    1. Act as a back up to the After Sales Manager
    2. Responsible for the security system monitoring during office hours and as a main contact person for emergency
    3. Responsible with scheduling routine Fire extinguishers, Heater, and Air Conditioning annual maintenance check
    4. Responsible for the office and warehouse supplies ordering
  9. Process Improvement
    1. Optimize warehouse layout, storage solutions, and workflow processes.
    2. Identify operational inefficiencies and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Besides the above job responsibilities, the right candidate will need to have the following:

  • Experience using the ERP system related to Warehouse Management and Purchasing modules
  • 10-key efficiency
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and solve operational challenges efficiently
  • Physical activity involved, including lifting and moving heavy items.

Requisitions

  • Bachelor's degree or technical diploma (preferably in logistics, management engineering, or mechanical engineering);
  • At least 3-5 years of previous experience in warehouse management roles, preferably in the Food & Beverage sector;
  • Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and warehouse management software;
  • Excellent knowledge of storage, handling, and safety procedures;
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills focused on operational efficiency;
  • Aptitude for continuous improvement and technological innovation;
  • Flexibility and ability to work in dynamic environments with tight deadlines.
