The Atria Health Institute is a membership-based primary and specialty health care practice with a focus on prevention and longevity. We bring together a multidisciplinary team of renowned physicians to provide proactive, preventive, and precision-based care for Atria members and their families. All care, including primary care, advanced screening and diagnostics, urgent care, specialty care, 24/7 home visits, and imaging is included in membersโ€™ annual fee.

Our mission is to make healthspan and lifespan equal for all by translating science into medicine in real-time, all while bringing humanity back into health care. Delivering such robust, personalized, and preventive health care is complex and requires a team-wide dedication to excellence.

After successfully opening our flagship Institute in New York in 2022 and expanding to South Florida in 2024, we are now bringing the Atria experience to the West Coast with the launch of our Los Angeles Institute in late spring 2026.

About the Role:

We are seeking a fullโ€‘time nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our multidisciplinary clinical team in NYC. In this role, you will provide proactive, longitudinal skin careโ€”including fullโ€‘body skin exams, early detection of skin cancer, and interpretation of Vectra 3D total body imagingโ€”with the support of a worldโ€‘class team and advanced diagnostics. You will also collaborate with internal medicine, pediatric and specialty colleagues in a modern, techโ€‘enabled, highโ€‘touch environment to provide medical dermatology and case management for chronic skin conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct and/or assist with early detection and prevention full body skin exams for adults by leveraging Vectra 3D imaging to identify changes, guide biopsies, and support timely intervention.
  • Liaise with onโ€‘site and offโ€‘site dermatologists caring for our members to provide coordinated care and bestโ€‘inโ€‘class medical care for skin lesions requiring biopsy, excision/Mohs surgery, or close follow up.
  • Perform and/or assist with shave and punch biopsies and minor medical dermatologic procedures.
  • Diagnose and manage common dermatologic conditions including warts, acne, eczema and other conditions.
  • Assist with documentation of clinical and Vectra findings in DermaGraphix and Athena EMR.
  • Assist with prescription management as indicated.
  • Review, triage, and efficiently and thoughtfully respond to member messages; liaise with onโ€‘site and offโ€‘site dermatologists to provide coordinated care.
  • Review results (e.g. pathology and laboratory reports); notify onโ€‘site and offโ€‘site dermatologist of findings and help with finalizing a care plan; assist with communication of results and care plan to the member.
  • Participate in dermatology research initiatives with Vectra 3D technology, advancing dataโ€‘driven, cuttingโ€‘edge skin health and cancer prevention studies.
  • Coordinate closely with primary care clinicians and across disciplines to deliver integrated, personalized care.
  • Nurse Practitionerโ€™s licenses in the state of NY.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in medical dermatology required.
  • Proficiency in punch biopsy and minor procedures of medical dermatology preferred.
  • Licensed in NY (required).
  • Dermoscopy experience (preferred) or willingness to learn dermoscopy.
  • Technology proficient and able to troubleshoot and work with the systems required for care.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to teamโ€‘based care.
  • Work onsite 5 days per week.
  • Comfort working in a modern, techโ€‘enabled practice.

Compensation $170,000-$190,000
