WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • We are looking for an enthusiasticElectricalEngineeror Mechatronics Engineereager tointegrate into our cultureand be a key team contributor.This engineerwillwork with a team in the development of new generation controls solutionsand engage in analysesof complex field and manufacturing challenges.The candidate will draw upon control and robotics theoryto support our electrical drive designs, analyzeand implement new motor applications,andcontribute to servo controltuning.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • BSEE with4+ years of experience, or MSEE with2+ years of experience.

  • Knowledge of control theory,dynamic systems,robotics theory, vibration analysis.

  • Including but not limited to related coursework, experience or research in controls, dynamic systems, or robotics.

  • Experience in FOC and BLDC controls.

  • Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems, including motors, actuators, sensors, electronics, and microcontrollers.

  • Competency in MATLAB (controls toolboxes a plus, object-oriented preferred).

  • Spice modeling and analysis, or equivalent.

  • Component selection and data sheet interpretation.

  • Handy in the use ofstandardlab equipmentand tools.

  • Prototyping and debugging circuits in a lab.

  • Standard Windows applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Occasional travel, <5%.

  • Ability to learn complex systems quickly and work independently.

  • Good troubleshooting andproblem-solvingskills.

  • Strongtechnical communication and presentation skills.

  • Competency inAltiumpreferred.

Compensation

Base Salary Range: $110,621.72 USD to $149,664.68 USD

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
