Position Summary
The basic function is to assist with installation, maintenance, and repair to financial/ATM equipment, pneumatic banking systems, bank locks, mechanical systems as well as CCTV and access control systems while working under close supervision of a more senior technician or supervisor.
Essential Functions
• Assist the Banking / ATM Installation Technician I with the on the following:
o Installation of Financial / ATM equipment and other electro-mechanical equipment at various locations within the assigned territory
o Installation of pneumatic banking systems, various locks, and mechanical systems
• Attend training classes, when offered
• Must be able to work the hours of service for start and completion of ATM service calls.
• Must be able to work an "on call" schedule.
• Must be able to operate outside in a safe manner and in all weather conditions.
• Monitors and ensures the progress and completion of assigned tasks.
• Completes and submits all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.
• Completes other projects to manager and customer satisfaction, as assigned.
Required Competencies
• Have a strong work ethic and be detail oriented.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprint, schematics, diagrams, instructions, etc. as presented in English.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate with internal and external teams and end users in English.
Qualifications - External
Education, Experience, and Eligibility Requirements
• Must present proof of ability to legally work in the United States.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to clear a drug screening in accordance with company policy and applicable law.
Certification/Licensing
• Must have low voltage Journeyman's license.
Work Environment
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those the employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job.
• Exposure to outside weather conditions, risk of electrical shock, and harsh work environments.
Physical Requirements
While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to undertake certain physical requirements unassisted for up to 8 hours per day.
• Stand; walk; sit; twist; use hands to handle; reach with hands and arms; push; pull; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear.
• Use vision abilities, including close, distance, peripheral, depth, and color.
• Work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions/circumstances, such as with ladders, scaffolding, high lift equipment, wires, ducts, crawl spaces, attics, above ceilings, etc.
• Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work a full-time, flexible schedule with "on-call" availability.
• Must be able to travel on short notice.
• Must be able to drive a motor vehicle (day and evenings) for extended time periods of time.
