SUMMARY

The ATM Project Specialist I supports the operation, improvement, and maintenance of EECU's ATM and Card Services infrastructure. This role plays a key part in ensuring system reliability, supporting technical projects, and ensuring a seamless experience for members. This position works closely with internal teams and external vendors to maintain high system performance, security, and compliance. 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Support daily operations of ATM and card services , including software servers, and network infrastructure. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system, network, and transaction processing issues (e.g.., STAR, CO-OP).
  • Assists with ATM installations, upgrades, and system conversions. 
  • Participate in technical projects and processes improvement initiatives. 
  • Conduct testing and quality assurance for system upgrades and changes. 
  • Maintain knowledge of industry standards and changes with ADA and ATM compliance.
  • Supports overall strategy for design, installation and operations of all ATM/Card related technology. 
  • Availability to be on call monthly to ensure assigned delivery systems are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with minimal down time.
  • Maintain and test Disaster Recovery Plans.
  • Travel to ATM sites as needed.
  • Support and maintain business relationships with vendors including: Network Vendors, Hardware Vendors, Software Application Vendors, FirstLine, SecondLine Vendors, etc. as necessary. 
  • Support education of staff and management regarding ATM related technology, products, and services.
  • Ensure maintenance, development, and implementation of new delivery systems meet management's needs and support Credit Union growth.
  • Demonstrates strong ethical standards and models EECU's values by fostering a positive working environment and individual professionalism. 
  • Delivers reliable, high quality service to internal users and members by proactively identifying issues, minimizing downtime, and providing effective resolutions that enhance the overall member experience. 

Requirements

Job Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Technology, or four to five years experience in a similar capacity in ATM operations or network operations function of a bank, Credit Union, or savings and loan; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
