Job Summary:
Safeguard company assets and comply with all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures by assisting customers with various cash transactions and conversion of tokens, gaming chips and coins.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Cash checks of all types and process credit card cash advances and incoming western union transfers following established procedures
  • Convert tokens, slot tickets, gaming chips, and coins to currency quickly, accurately and efficiently
  • Provide prompt, friendly and courteous service to all guests in a confidential manner
  • Balance cashier bank and meet established standards of accuracy
  • Process Pit fills and credits
  • Run coin through JetSort and maintain accuracy of coin bags
  • Verify cash from other banks within the cage
  • Set up and Verify outlet banks
  • Drop and fill ATM machines (Drop Cashier only)
  • Accurately complete Quickett and Kiosk reports
  • Answer a multi-line phone system
  • Maintain work station in a clean, neat and orderly manner
  • All other duties that may be assigned

Requirements
Work Environment:
  • Must be willing to work any shift when necessary, including weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke

Job Requirements:
  • Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide, using whole numbers and decimals
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
  • Must have working knowledge of Windows Outlook, fax machine, 10-key, currency counters, copier, and telephone
  • Must work well with direct supervision
  • Must provide excellent guest service
  • Must be able to function well as a team member with all departments
  • Must be able to remain calm in emergency situations
  • Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have Gaming Registration or ability to obtain same
  • Previous experience required in heavy cash handling; at least six months
  • Previous experience required in a customer service position; at least six months
  • Must be at least 21 years of age

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs on a repetitive basis
  • Must have manual dexterity in hands and fingers
