Job description

As a Product Marketing Manager for Atlas, you will be an integral part of our world-class product team that is shaping the story around next-generation applications for humanoid robotics technology. Atlas is the world's most recognizable humanoid and is on the journey from research to real-world use. You will be a key part of crafting that story - demonstrating how Atlas and Boston Dynamics are ready to solve the most complex automation challenges for the world's largest manufacturers.
As we ramp up with our early adopter customers and set the stage to expand, you will be key in continuing our efforts to scale awareness. To thrive in this role, you must be enthusiastic about new technology, technology that is changing the way people work, and be ready to lead strategic initiatives that put Atlas and our AI advances top of mind.
Boston Dynamics is the global leader in mobile robotics, consistently tackling the toughest challenges in the field. While our viral videos on YouTube have long captured the world's imagination by showing what robots can do, we are now focused on what they must do. We are rapidly transforming our research powerhouse into a go-to-market powerhouse that is powered by our research expertise. We are a recognized leader in industrial automation, delivering robust solutions that drive ROI in the world's most demanding warehouse and logistics environments.
A writing sample and a product launch sample are preferred when submitting your application.
How you will make an impact:
  • Own the strategy and execution of Atlas announcements, developing go-to-market plans, and partnering with stakeholders across product management, engineering, sales, and more.
  • Become the subject matter expert on Atlas hardware and applications and understand positioning its capabilities to the needs of our customers and market.
  • Shape the storytelling around the journey of Atlas from the development phase into the real world, highlighting our advanced AI and software development.
  • Create messaging and product positioning for Atlas for target personas
  • Plan and develop content to support each stage of the buyer's journey, including sales collateral and presentations, videos, case studies, webinars, blogs, whitepapers, and more.

We are looking for:
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in marketing or product management
  • Demonstrated ability to execute high-level launches and campaigns
  • Great storyteller and writer who can turn industry and product complexity into clear and engaging positioning and narrative
  • Highly organized and self-directed individual
  • Experience working with customers in manufacturing, materials handling, and more is a plus
  • Proficiency with design tools such as InDesign, Photoshop, or Canva is a plus
  • Experience with building new product categories is also a plus.

We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not able to sponsor visas for this position.
The base pay range for this position is between $135,000.00 to 142,000.00 annually. Base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This range represents a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Boston Dynamics offers a generous Benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and an annual bonus structure. Additional details regarding these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer for employment.
