Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients experiencing chronic pain, including detailed medical history reviews, physical examinations, and pain level evaluations using industry-standard assessment tools.
  • Treatment Planning: Work collaboratively with our team of physicians to develop tailored pain management strategies that may involve medication prescriptions, physical therapy referrals, and interventional pain procedures, ensuring that each treatment plan aligns with the patient's goals and needs.
  • Patient Education: Provide comprehensive education to patients on their diagnoses, treatment options, and self-management techniques. Ensure that patients are well-informed and capable of actively participating in their treatment journey.
  • Procedural Assistance: Participate in essential pain management procedures such as epidural injections, nerve blocks, and joint injections, ensuring both safety and comfort for patients during these interventions.
  • Follow-up Care: Continuously monitor patients’ progress post-treatment, making necessary adjustments to their pain management plans based on feedback and clinical judgment, while offering ongoing emotional support and counseling to optimize recovery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be adult patients suffering from various chronic pain conditions, including but not limited to back pain, neuropathy, and arthritis. The patient demographic in Orlando is diverse, and you will have the opportunity to work closely with individuals from varied backgrounds, providing care that respects their unique life situations and health beliefs.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or an equivalent graduate program from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant in Florida.
