Job Title: Assistant, Marketing (Pop/Dance)

A little bit about our team:

The Pop/Dance Marketing Team works cross-functionally within the Atlantic Records ecosystem to manage artist projects from inception to completion. You will support the marketing leadership and their roster through both administrative and creative tasks. This is a fast-paced environment where you'll learn the fundamentals of the music industry and establish key industry contacts.


Your role:

As a Marketing Assistant, you will be exposed to all aspects of the recorded music business, from brainstorms to campaign execution. You'll work with third-party vendors and internal teams to support department-specific campaigns. We need someone who can thrive in a high-pressure environment and help us stay on top of daily operations.


Here you'll get to:

  • Manage calendars, daily schedules, and coordinate calls for marketing leadership.

  • Assist in the conceptualization and execution of marketing ideas and digital campaigns.

  • Liaise with the team to create promotional tools and facilitate product manufacturing (posters, merch, etc.).

  • Coordinate artist events and activations, from budget planning to final execution.

  • Organize and manage single and project-specific assets received from third parties.

  • Create and share email blasts to the company with key info for new releases.

  • Submit and manage expense reports and invoices to ensure payments are seen through.

  • Update artist one-sheets and marketing documents regularly.


About you:

  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and are extremely detail-oriented.

  • You have the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a time crunch.

  • You are a proactive self-starter who is highly motivated and organized.

  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, and Mailchimp.

  • You have a pulse on what is trendy and culturally relevant in music and tech.

  • You have strong computer skills and the ability to analyze data from digital service providers.

We'd love it if you also had:

  • A background in music marketing or previous administrative experience.

  • Basic graphic design skills and an eye for aesthetics.

  • A true passion to learn and grow within the Atlantic Records roster.
