Job description

Atlantic Health is Seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife in Summit, New Jersey

Atlantic Health, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join the Atlantic Medical Group Women's Health team at Atlantic Health Overlook Medical Center. This full-time role includes both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities on the Overlook Medical Center campus, which features a newly renovated maternity center and labor and delivery floor. The CNM will work closely with a collaborative team of board-certified obstetricians, certified nurse midwives, social workers, nutritionists, and nurses to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care within a growing service line

The CNM will perform patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, and provide obstetric and gynecologic services, including labor management and delivery. Responsibilities also include community education, participation in practice management, and accurate completion of medical documentation and billing.

This is a full-time opportunity that requires the CNM to work in the outpatient clinic, as well as 1 24-hour call per week, and 1 weekend call per month.
