Primary Function

The primary function of the Athletic Club Receptionist is to provide exceptional services to the Athletic Club members and guests while selling the attributes of the Athletic Club and Glenwood Hot Springs. Ensure a quality experience for all our members and guests.

Reporting and Accountability

The Athletic Club Receptionist reports to and is accountable to the Athletic Club Manager.

Authority

The Athletic Club Receptionist has the support and authority necessary to carry out the responsibilities and tasks described in this job description and other responsibilities of the Athletic Club, as delegated by the Manger.  

Physical Requirements
  • Adequate physical agility to perform physical tasks required to operate the Athletic Club.
  • Ability to push, pull, lift and carry up to 45 lbs.
  • Ability to sit, stand, twist, bend and kneel. 
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and read instructions
Educational Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
Other Requirements
  • Clerical skills including typing.
  • Telephone skills.
  • Basic knowledge of all Athletic Club facilities and equipment.
  • Ability to handle cashiering functions
  • Ability to handle several tasks at once.
  • Computer software (MS Office) skills.
Work Hours and Days

The Athletic Club Receptionist’s work hours and days are variable and must be adaptable to seasonal and other variations in business, and responsibilities as part of the Athletic Club’s staff. They can and will include weekends and holidays.
