Quality Manager

Location: Huntsville, AL

Position Summary:

Join the EnProVera team as a Quality Manager, overseeing quality assurance and compliance for ATF’s NIBIN and NNCTC operations. Lead audits, accreditation efforts, and continuous improvement in support of critical law enforcement missions.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Supporting NNCTC I, II, and other NIBIN sites with coordination and administration of activities required to implement and maintain quality throughout the centers.
  • Providing technical guidance for government and technical direction for contract staff members at the NNCTCs in functions related to accreditation, certification, and quality assurance/control.
  • Working with onsite government and contract staff at the NNCTCs to ensure compliance with the Minimum Required Operating Standards for NIBIN Sites (MROS), ISO/IEC 17020, and current ANSI/ANAB Accreditation Requirements.
  • Work with onsite government and contract staff at the NNCTCs to monitor and review all program practices that affect the quality of triage, acquisition, and correlation review results on a continuous basis.
  • Scheduling, monitoring, and/or conducting audits of center practices; verifying compliance with policies and procedures through annual assessments, proficiency testing, corrective action review, and other procedures and documentation.
  • Assisting government staff with creating and writing various documents for the quality management system.
  • Assisting the government staff with planning, creating, and implementing various programs for the quality management system.
  • Training and mentoring contractor Quality Personnel to develop quality assurance and quality control skills, including understanding compliance with specific International Standards and the customer's MROS.
  • Reporting to the Program Manager or their designee as approved by the COR.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, or possession of a combination of formal education and professional work experience related to this position (with prior approval from ATF).
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Quality Assurance Technician or Quality Manager.
  • At least 40 hours of audit training with MROS and/or International Standards.
  • Experience with International Standards and/or regulatory bodies (ISO/IEC 17020, ANAB, or equivalent).

Desired Skills and Experience (if applicable):

  • Prior experience supporting ATF, DOJ, or law enforcement forensic programs.
  • Familiarity with NIBIN or ballistics-related quality control requirements.
