  • Monitor project expenditures and identify discrepancies requiring correction.
  • Reconcile project costs, commitments, purchase orders, and subcontract balances.
  • Process project cost transfers and journal entries as needed.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end accounting close activities.
  • Support project financial audits and internal compliance reviews.

Billing & Revenue

  • Prepare and process customer invoices in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Support progress billing, milestone billing, lump sum billing, and time-and-material billing.
  • Review billing documentation for completeness and contractual compliance.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and assist with collection efforts as needed.
  • Support revenue recognition in accordance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers to resolve billing issues and customer inquiries.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly project financial reports.
  • Analyze project costs, labor, equipment, subcontractor, and material expenditures.
  • Support project forecasting by providing accurate financial information.
  • Assist with cash flow reporting and project profitability analysis.
  • Work closely with Project Controls to reconcile cost reports and financial forecasts.
  • Identify cost trends and communicate financial risks to project leadership.

Project Support

  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Procurement, Contracts, and Project Controls to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Review subcontractor invoices and vendor payment requests.
  • Assist with contract modifications, change orders, and financial documentation.
  • Maintain project files and financial documentation in accordance with company policies.
  • Support project closeout activities, including final billings, cost reconciliation, and financial reporting.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform additional accounting and finance duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of accounting or project accounting experience, preferably supporting EPC, construction, industrial, utility, or engineering projects.
