Signs Night Patroller (Part-Time Evening Position)

Perfect for Night Owls, Students, and Anyone Who Enjoys Driving
Huston Signs installs and maintains illuminated signs for businesses across Central Indiana. But here's the challenge: you can't see if a sign is working during the day. Signs only light up after dark - and that's when outages become visible: That's why we have our Night Patrol Team.
Our Night Patroller are the eyes of the night, driving assigned routes to identify sign or lighting outages so our team can help businesses stay bright, visible, and welcoming to their customers. Think of it as spotting problems before anyone else does.
Important: This is not a security position. Your role is simply to observe, document, and report sign and lighting outages through an app.
What You'll Do
  • Drive assigned routes throughout Central Indiana
  • Visually scan businesses for sign or lighting outages
  • Take photos of signs and log them in our mobile app
  • Document what you see so our team can follow up
Schedule
This role is designed for evenings and flexible schedules.
  • Part-time (up to 19 hours per week)
  • Evening shifts beginning around dusk
  • Typical patrol window: hours may vary
  • Great fit for students, night owls, or anyone wanting extra evening income
  • Seasonal note:
    • During summer, shifts may start later as it gets dark later.
Pay
  • $17 per hour - paid weekly
