Our network is the place you go to learn about the issues that plague our planet, and to discover the solutions to them. iFLIP4 educates. It inspires. It empowers, all in the name of the world's greatest causes--and the best part: it's driven by you.

Pre-launch, we have been featured in the New York Post, and we are also the recipients of the Brown University C.V. Starr Social Entrepreneurship Fellowship.

We have iFLIP4 Ambassadors (campus representatives) on 45+ college and high school campuses in the US, UK, and Canada, and iFLIP4.com has been visited in 100+ countries.

Some of our advisors include a former treasurer of IBM, a media expert who helped launch MTV, a Fulbright winning law professor, and a senior advertising executive in charge of $250 million of ad sales at Yahoo.

Job Description

We want to change the world. We're a team of fast-executing social entrepreneurs on a mission to build the future of social change. We've bootstrapped our preparation so far, and we're at a critical point where we want excited interns to help us expand the movement. This position is unpaid and part-time but very flexible.

Your job will be to assist the Nonprofit Relations Director to empower nonprofits to connect with the Millennial generation, that charities struggle mightily to reach, in an innovative, convincing, and concise new way. This includes (but is certainly not limited to) creating and maintaining world-changing nonprofit profiles on the iFLIP4 website, researching some of the world's most pressing issues, and collaborating with other domains of iFLIP4.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about changing the world. Someone who understands that it takes the work of a lot of people, not only those on the front lines but those behind the scenes as well. We want someone who is super creative, detail-oriented and a pro at multitasking. Someone who can be counted on to make deadlines and get the job done but to also constantly think of ways to improve the overall experience across the board.

Responsibilities

  1. Help expand iFLIP4's network of nonprofits to include more world-changing charities!

  2. Work creatively and collaboratively on projects with other iFLIP4 team members to create new and exciting content for the website and offline events

  3. Create and maintain nonprofit profiles

  4. Neatly input and maintain current nonprofit information into an organized database

  5. Inspire a generation to discover the cause they care most about!

Qualifications
  1. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  2. Google Drive proficiency, including with Gmail, Docs, and Sheets

  3. A dedicated, honest, and super-reliable teammate

  4. Never-ending creativity and a strong attention to detail

  5. Experience working with nonprofits and overall knowledge of the nonprofit industry

  6. Personal contacts at nonprofits are a plus

  7. A burning desire to work at a startup social enterprise that truly intends to change the world!

Additional Information

This position will begin as part-time at about 15 hours/week. As we grow and complete our Angel round of funding, we will address potential growth opportunities. We are located in East Hanover, NJ, and telecommuting is fine with us.
