Job Summary

Coordinates activities of other food-service employees. Creates an enjoyable dining experience for residents, staff and visitors. 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws
  • Interacts with residents and resolves residents complaints in a friendly and service oriented manner
  • Oversees and participates in the preparation and service of food and beverage items in accordance with company standards for presentation, sanitation, safety and portion control.  
  • Ensures timely, efficient meal service; supervises serving of meals.  
  • Help plan meals
  • Trains employees; assigns and coordinates work of employees to promote efficiency and excellence in food and service.  
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience
  • Possess general hospitality knowledge and interest in sustainability and sustainable food practices
  • ServSafe Certification is preferred
