A big value of our offering is that we provide 1-on-1 in-home tutoring. Most of our clients prefer tutors who either come and work at their homes or work one-on-one in the local library.

Job Description

The mission of Tutor Doctor is to change the trajectory of students' lives. Tutors must possess a firm understanding of the subject matter and the ability to connect with their students and teach to their specific learning styles. The tutor's primary focus will be helping students with homework and learning new concepts. A written session report must be completed after every tutoring session.

Tutors will meet with their students at home or via the local library. They will be treated as part-time employees and need to undergo a background check. Assistance with background checks is available. A W2 will be issued at the end of the year.

Tutors are required to participate in an initial Tutor Doctor orientation. The tutor will learn about the internal system that notifies you of student matches, allows you to submit the required session reports, and records your tutor hours.

· Employment history required.

We typically ask for at least a 6-month commitment for tutors to ensure continuity with students.
