Home Design Inc. is a licensed residential building contractor specializing in kitchen and bath remodeling projects throughout Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. Established in 2014, our company combines innovative design, quality craftsmanship, and exceptional customer service to deliver beautiful and functional living spaces.


Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and creative Kitchen & Bath Designer / Sales Consultant to join our growing team. This role combines design expertise with sales strategy—guiding homeowners through the remodeling process from concept to completion while achieving monthly sales targets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Meet clients in our showroom or on-site to understand their needs, style preferences, and project scope.
  • Create kitchen and bath designs using 2020 Design (or similar software).
  • Prepare design presentations, 3D renderings, and material selections (cabinets, countertops, flooring, fixtures).
  • Develop detailed proposals and estimates in coordination with project managers and estimators.
  • Manage client relationships throughout the design and sales process to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Follow up on leads, schedule consultations, and close projects to meet monthly sales goals.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for product availability, pricing, and lead times.
  • Maintain accurate records of client communications, proposals, and project details in the company CRM system.
  • Participate in marketing events, home shows, and social media promotions to generate new leads.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in kitchen & bath design or home remodeling sales.
  • Proficiency in 2020 Design, SketchUp, or similar design software.
  • Strong understanding of cabinetry, countertops, flooring, and related products.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Highly motivated and results-driven personality.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $ per day (depending on experience and performance)
  • Commission: Based on total project sales (paid proportionally as client payments are received)
  • Sales Target: Depending on experience and performance
  • Bonuses: Performance-based incentives and career growth opportunities

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Occasional Saturdays (by appointment or event schedule)
