NorthStar Memorial Group is seeking a Funeral Home Manager with an active Funeral Directors license at Levitt-Weinstein Memorial Chapel in Hollywood, FL.

Responsibilities

  • Plan events such as holiday events, and state memorial days, visits community places (Churches, Hospitals, Nursing Homes, or Community Centers)
  • Leading and developing a funeral home team that reflects NorthStars core values of Passion, Accountability, Caring and Teamwork
  • Direct and lead funeral home operations
  • Achieve the location's annual volume and revenue goals while ensuring that growth targets are achieved and the business remains profitable
  • Select, train, and motivate location staff to ensure delivery of service is above and beyond family expectations

Qualifications

  • Licensed Funeral Director in the state of Florida or must be able to reciprocate
  • 5+ years of experience in the funeral profession
  • 2+ years of management or leadership experience, funeral profession preferred
  • Excellent customer relations and actively looking for ways to improve our service delivery
  • Professional communication and effective leadership skills
