Job description

Position Summary – Home Comfort Advisor

As a Home Comfort Advisor, you’ll generate new leads, build strong relationships with customers, and recommend the best HVAC solutions for their homes or businesses. You’ll work closely with our HVAC team by helping with system design, providing quotes, and preparing proposals and contracts.

Note: This is a 100% commission-based role—your earnings are driven by your performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all sales leads—both self-generated and company-provided—and keep the Sales Director updated on each one.
  • Accurately design and quote residential HVAC systems.
  • Follow up with customers regularly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Guide customers through available product options and recommend the best solutions for their needs.
  • Clearly explain product features, operation, and maintenance to customers.
  • Identify new sales opportunities through direct outreach.
  • Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle.
  • Support office staff as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years of successful HVAC sales experience.
  • HVAC knowledge and familiarity. Working with Service Titan is a plus.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and people skills.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organized with great attention to detail and strong follow-through.
  • Ability to size HVAC systems and perform heat load calculations.
  • Must pass a motor vehicle check and maintain a good driving record.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Must be fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to sit, walk, bend, kneel, crawl, and climb ladders/stairs.
  • Occasionally lift and carry up to 10 lbs.
  • Work in office settings and residential spaces, including tight areas like crawlspaces and attics.
  • Work in a range of temperatures, from climate-controlled to hot or cold environments.
