Teacher - Butte Head Start Full-Time Seasonal Non-Exempt

Whether you're teaching in the classroom, preparing nutritious meals, supporting families, or ensuring children arrive safely each day, every role makes a difference.
As a Head Start Teacher, you'll inspire curiosity, celebrate milestones, and create meaningful learning experiences that help children discover their potential. You'll build trusting relationships with children and families while creating a classroom where every child feels safe, valued, and excited to learn.

Key Responsibilities
โ€ข Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom where children can learn through exploration and play.
โ€ข Plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
โ€ข Foster school readiness and kindergarten readiness.
โ€ข Build positive partnerships with families.
โ€ข Observe progress and individualize instruction.
โ€ข Collaborate with your teaching team to meet Head Start Performance Standards.
Requirements
โ€ข Associate degree in Early Childhood Education.
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.
โ€ข Bachelor's or advanced degree in another field with equivalent ECE coursework and preschool teaching experience.

โ€ข Knowledge of child development.
โ€ข Positive relationships with children and families.
โ€ข Knowledge of Head Start standards or willingness to learn.
