Job description

Student Campaign & Data Support Specialist
The Sun Devil Giving department of the ASU Foundation for A New American University is a team of dedicated students and staff with a passion to communicate the impact the foundation is having on the advancement of ASU and raise donations to support scholarships, student clubs and organizations, faculty programs, research, athletics, and much more. We reach donors through multiple communication channels, including social, email, mobile, web, phone and mail.
The Campaign & Data Support Specialist will focus on managing various areas of campaign development and generating insights concerning audience engagement and channel effectiveness. The Student Analyst possesses a passion for data-driven decisions, high analytics competence, and exhibits strong attention to detail.
What you'll do
  • Assist with campaign intake and calendar management of solicitations
  • Assist with development, review, and editing of solicitation materials
  • Assist with pulling data to develop targeted audience lists and evaluate campaign ROI
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing analysis and actionable insights that will improve solicitation results
  • Evaluate effectiveness of solicitation channels and prepare insights to communicate findings
  • Develop and manage campaign, vanity, and QR codes
  • Support Associate Director of Annual Giving Partnerships with the creation of new process documents, intake forms, and other internal guides for the Annual Giving team
  • Assist with development of the Annual Giving Newsletter
  • Create visualizations and reports for requested projects or inter-departmental meetings
  • Maintain and support data analytics platforms
  • Other duties as assigned

What you'll need
  • Experience with data analysis and report generation
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing assigned duties
  • Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects
  • Experience with Microsoft Office; highly proficient in Excel
  • Strong and collegial interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively in person, in writing, and by phone
  • Ability to problem solve, develop & implement processes
  • Ability to develop test data, test plans, test cases and validate results
  • Ability to develop and document complex workflows
  • Collaborative style, combined with the ability and desire to work in a team-based environment
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tools and analytics is desired
  • Prior use of Salesforce is a plus
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and responsibility regarding information related to the ASU Foundation, its affiliates, and university business and confidential prospect information
