What are part-time ASU students?

Part-time ASU students are individuals enrolled at Arizona State University (ASU) who take fewer credit hours per semester than full-time students, typically less than 12 credits for undergraduates. Part-time status offers flexibility for students who may be balancing work, family, or other commitments alongside their studies. While tuition and fees are calculated differently for part-time students, they still have access to many campus resources and support services. However, part-time status may impact eligibility for certain scholarships, financial aid, and on-campus housing.
