About this Position

Audit, review and approve encumbrance and expenditure documents. Correspond daily with campus departments and external agencies in the resolution of problems. Interpret State Statutes and University Policies and Procedures and effectively communicate compliance issues to departments. Perform computer data entry in Banner Finance. Navigate OK Corral for processing of requisitions and invoices. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • Fin Ast I - No experience required.

    Fin Ast II - one year of related experience. 

    Fin Ast Sr - three years of related experience. 

    Post-secondary education may substitute for years of required experience.

  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:
    1. Ability to interpret, understand, and implement various policies, procedures, and regulations as they pertain to major responsibilities.
    2. . The ability to use 10-key.
    3. The ability to communicate with others effectively.
    4. The ability to organize and file efficiently and effectively.
