As a therapist, your efforts will contribute significantly to community stabilization and the trusted guidance of individuals seeking mental health support.

About the Organization

Brighter Tomorrow Healthcare Services, Inc. is committed to providing comprehensive mental health services that empower individuals to pursue their personal goals while ensuring their rights and dignity are respected. Our organization is at the forefront of delivering telehealth services, ensuring accessibility to quality care for clients in remote areas, particularly in Fairview, Oregon. Work Environment

This role is conducted entirely through telehealth, allowing you to provide vital mental health services from the comfort of your home. The flexibility of remote work enables a work-life balance that supports personal well-being. Our virtual tools and platforms are designed to optimize your practice, minimize paperwork, and focus on client interactions, ensuring you can dedicate your time to what truly mattersโ€”your clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document care and interactions with clients on the same day to ensure accurate and timely records, particularly for those at increased risk of crisis intervention.
  • Initiate critical incident reporting forms when necessary, ensuring all incidents are recorded within 24 hours.
  • Provide after-hours support on a rotating basis to ensure continuous care coordination.
  • Work collaboratively with program participants to develop strategies that prevent the need for crisis services.
  • Establish and maintain crisis alerts to facilitate communication with county crisis services when necessary.
  • Coordinate transitions between hospitalization or inpatient services and our programs, ensuring thorough care communication with hospital staff for safe discharges.
  • Employ crisis de-escalation techniques to support clients effectively, particularly when acting as the Clinician of the Day.
  • Conduct risk assessments and form safety plans that align with client needs and best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals experiencing a range of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to more complex psychological disorders. Your efforts will aim to enhance their quality of life, ensure access to necessary resources, and facilitate their journey towards achieving personal goals. By remaining attuned to the needs of each client, you will provide tailored interventions that respect individual rights and dignity.

Qualifications
  • A master's or doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work from an accredited institution.
  • An independent license to practice in your respective state (LCSW, LMFT, LPC).
  • Strong judgment and communication skills, enabling you to engage effectively with clients.
  • Ability to manage a high caseload while delivering quality services, demonstrating sound decision-making skills.
  • Capacity to remain calm and effective during crises, employing empathy and active listening to build trust.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working in a telehealth environment or with remote client interactions.
  • Capacity to triage tasks based on urgency and client needs, ensuring no critical concern is overlooked.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate team members and maintain a positive work atmosphere.
