We are seeking a Senior Associate to join the Financial Services Assurance practice in our Philadelphia office. We are seeking someone who thrives in a growing environment and providing clients with exceptional services.

What Work You Will be Responsible For:
  • Prepare budgets for each engagement

  • Run client engagements including pre-audit planning

  • Review client accounting, operating procedures, and systems of internal control

  • Conduct audit tests to verify fair representation of client financial statements

  • Document workpapers and develop accounting worksheets

  • Perform research on technical issues

  • Review staff prepared workpapers and programs

  • Identify issues and propose appropriate solutions

  • Keep manager/partner informed on status of job

  • Communicate with client in order to complete the audit in a timely and efficient manner

  • Supervise, train and mentor staff during engagement

  • Assess performance of staff for engagement evaluations

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field is required

  • 2+ years of audit and/or assurance experience

  • Experience with asset management clients

Preferred/Desired Qualifications:
  • CPA or parts passed towards completion

  • Master's degree in Accounting or equivalent field
