Job description

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Qualifications:This is an interdisciplinary position which may be filled by any of the following series: CLINICAL COUNSELOR (0101) OR SOCIAL WORKER (0185).
In addition to the Basic Requirements
for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Implementing mandated reporting and program delivery decisions and; 2) Interpreting and adapting existing guidelines to arrive at a finding or conclusion, or to decide appropriate course of actions; and 3) Delivering support services in serious and complex cases involving families at-risk for child abuse and neglect, creating and maintaining relationship with community partners, and providing education and training. ***NOTE: This information must be supported in your resume to be considered for the position.***

Basic education requirements for the GS-0185, Professional Social Work Series: Have successfully completed a degree in social work that fulfills all of the requirements for the master's degree in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
