Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java/Kafka Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Apache Kafka, REST APIs, and Distributed Systems. The ideal candidate will develop scalable, high-performance, event-driven applications and contribute to cloud-ready enterprise solutions using modern DevOps practices.

Required Technical Skills
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.
  • Extensive experience developing microservices and RESTful APIs.
  • Strong expertise in Apache Kafka, including producers, consumers, topics, partitions, consumer groups, and stream processing.
  • Experience designing event-driven and distributed system architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of asynchronous communication, fault tolerance, scalability, and application resiliency.
  • Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
  • Strong SQL skills, including query optimization, stored procedures, data modeling, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency with Git and Maven.
  • Understanding of cloud-native application development and deployment.
  • Experience with application monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications and microservices.
  • Build scalable and resilient services using Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and service integrations, including API security, versioning, logging, and error handling.
  • Develop and maintain Kafka-based event-driven applications, including producers, consumers, and stream-processing solutions.
  • Configure and optimize Kafka topics, partitions, and consumer groups for high-throughput and reliable messaging.
  • Troubleshoot Kafka, distributed-system, application performance, and data consistency issues.
  • Design highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable distributed applications.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, database objects, and data models.
  • Support database performance tuning, migration, and modernization activities.
  • Develop and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and automate build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
  • Follow secure coding practices, development standards, and engineering best practices.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adequate unit and integration test coverage.
  • Use Git for version control and Maven for dependency and build management.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical discussions, design reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA engineers, product owners, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC.
