 What You Will Do: 

  • The primary focus of this role is oversee each phase of the production process ensuring completion of electrical power components. 
  • Assist with regulatory documentation in highly regulated environments, ensuring adherence to customer guidelines, including managing and tracking technical documentation, drawings, revisions, and engineering change requests. 
  • Create and maintain route books. 
  • Track and receiving in packages delivered from shipping department. 
  • Own the program hardware process handling and organizing including moving hardware, creating trackers for part location and build levels. 
  • Identify and document product classifications based on internal and external standards. 
  • Facilitate communication across engineering, manufacturing, and quality control departments. 
  • Support project teams by tracking the receipt, kitting, and allocation of parts. 
  • Identify risks to material “on time delivery” and escalate to appropriate stakeholders.  
  • Work closely and coordinate with engineering, legal, quality assurance, and other teams to integrate compliance requirements into product development. 

What You Will Bring: 

  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • 2-3 years’ experience in manufacturing with a focus on materials. 
  • Demonstrated experience with MS Office Suite of programs, especially Word (document creation), Excel (hardware tracking) and SAP 
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to analyze data 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills  
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities independently 

Due to the nature of the work, US citizenship is required 

Pay Range: $21-$24/hour 

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan. 

Work Requirements: 

This role is considered an on-site position located in Rockford, IL 

You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.  

Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs. 

Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, zero travel is required. 

Citizenship requirement: Due to the nature of the work, US citizenship is required
