Job description

Engineering Project Coordinator
Winter Haven, FL | $70,000–$80,000 | Temp-to-Hire or Direct Hire

We are recruiting for an Engineering Project Coordinator to join a well-established manufacturing organization. This position will coordinate technical projects from initial scope through manufacturing, shipment, installation and completion.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and track project scopes, schedules, budgets and milestones
  • Coordinate between engineering, sales, production, manufacturing and operations
  • Communicate with customers regarding project requirements and approvals
  • Review equipment specifications, sales orders and project requirements
  • Coordinate equipment shipments and installation schedules
  • Track project risks, technical issues and deadlines
  • Provide regular project status updates to management
  • Support manufacturing and installation activities as needed
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of related project coordination or project management experience
  • Experience within engineering, manufacturing, construction, industrial equipment or another technical environment
  • Strong understanding of project schedules, budgets and lifecycle management
  • Ability to read and work with technical drawings/specifications
  • CAD/SolidWorks experience strongly preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills; MS Project experience helpful
  • Engineering degree preferred; relevant technical experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • PMP is a plus
  • Ability to travel, including occasional international travel
Salary: $70,000–$80,000, depending on experience. Excellent benefits available upon permanent hire.
