Warehouse Associate โ€“ Weekend Shift

Hours: Friday through Sunday, 7:00am to 7:30pm

Location: Tallmadge, OH

Starting Rate: $19.00 per hour

Summary

Warehouse Associates play a key role in supporting daily warehouse operations by following all food safety guidelines and ensuring smooth inventory flow. This includes shipping, receiving, transferring, storing, and cycle counting inventory while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace.


Responsibilities
  • Prepare and package materials for shipment according to order requirements.

  • Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments; unload and label materials properly.

  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools to move inventory efficiently.

  • Maintain accurate inventory data using barcode scanners and warehouse management software.

  • Conduct regular cycle counts and report inventory discrepancies.

  • Identify and document damaged, short, or compromised merchandise.

  • Stack and store materials safely according to size, shape, and type.

  • Keep all work areas-including floors, shelving, docks, and computer stations-clean and organized.

  • Collaborate with team members across departments with safety as the top priority.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications & Skills
  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Previous warehouse experience with shipping, receiving, and cycle counts.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.

  • Proficient in data entry, warehouse management systems (WMS), and computer usage.

  • Ability to operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely.

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperatures or conditions.
