Job description

Summary:
The Multimedia Solutions Specialist is responsible for the strategic management, governance, and daily operations of the organization's video platforms and multimedia tools. This role ensures that multimedia content is developed, maintained, and delivered with consistency, quality, and efficiency. The specialist partners closely with content developers, HR teams, and cross functional stakeholders to support high quality multimedia experiences across learning, communications, and digital platforms.
Responsibilities:
  • Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
  • Develop and maintain the strategic roadmap for video platforms, tools, and related technologies.
  • Establish governance standards, best practices, and operating procedures for multimedia content creation, publishing, and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with branding, accessibility, privacy, and security requirements across all multimedia assets.
  • Oversee daily operations of video platforms, including content organization, metadata standards, version control, and archival processes.
  • Provision and manage user access, ensuring appropriate permissions and adherence to governance guidelines.
  • Conduct regular quality control audits to ensure accuracy, consistency, and optimal user experience.
  • Develop multimedia content directly, including video editing, motion graphics, and other digital media outputs.
  • Assist content developers and stakeholders in shaping and producing their multimedia deliverables, offering creative guidance and technical expertise.
  • Support end to end multimedia workflows-from planning and pre-production through editing, publishing, and maintenance.
  • Ensure all content aligns with established standards for quality, accessibility, and brand consistency.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for multimedia tools, providing guidance and troubleshooting support to content developers and stakeholders.
  • Deliver training, documentation, and resources to build capability across teams and promote consistent use of multimedia standards.
  • Partner with content creators to optimize video workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor platform performance, user feedback, and industry trends to identify opportunities for enhancement.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to workflows, tools, and processes to increase efficiency and content quality.
  • Collaborate with IT, HR, and communications teams to support platform upgrades, integrations, and new feature adoption.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
Education/Skills
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or in lieu of education a high school diploma/GED and four years of additional relevant experience above the minimum qualification required.
• Strong understanding of video production workflows, file formats, accessibility standards, and content lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with using AI tools and effective prompting techniques to generate or enhance multimedia outputs.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to train and support users with varying levels of technical proficiency.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality, governance, and continuous improvement.
Experience
• Minimum five (5) years' experience in Multimedia development creating and managing high-quality video, animation, audio, and interactive media.
• Experience managing video platforms, digital asset systems, or multimedia tools, and video content management systems.
• Experience with Synthesia strongly preferred.
• Experience with Vimeo strongly preferred.
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
• NA
In accordance with the CHRISTUS Health License, Certification and Registration Verification Policy, all Associates are required to obtain the required certifications for their respective positions within the designated time frame.
