Project Manager - Window Treatments
Department: Technician
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Hollywood, FL (HEDSouth)
Reporting To: Robert, VP of Production & Engineering
Compensation: $40.00 - $50.00 / hour

You Are:
  • A technically inclined individual with a strong understanding of window treatment installation (motorized/manual) who enjoys problem-solving and delivering clean, professional work. You want to be in the field, hands on.

You Have:
  • Experience on projects with a focus on Motorized Window Treatments (measure, install, programming, maintenance, & service) across high-end residential and commercial projects. (Ideally Lutron but you may come from installing versions from Crestron, Somfy, or similar)
  • Experience on construction sites as a Project Manager or Installer (a PMP is a plus!). Knowledge of the built environment and experience with all three phases of implementation (Rough/Trim/Final). A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, Hiqh EQ.

Your Contribution to HEDSouth:
  • Plan sets/Blueprints: Read, interpret, manifest, mark-up, distribute to team
  • Scope of Work: Understand, deliver, troubleshoot as needed (roller shades, draperies, & roman shades)
  • Quality Control: Ensure all work meets SOW, Plans, Company Standards, Client Expectations
  • Measure and order appropriate products in a timely manner
  • Integrate with home automation systems
  • Perform system upgrades, software updates, & field modifications
  • Service calls, preventative maintenance, & ensure ongoing system performance and reliability.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience installing or managing projects with motorized window treatments
  • Proficiency with leading brands such as Lutron & Crestronetc.
  • Strong understanding of electrical wiring and low-voltage systems
