Associate Vice President for Enrollment Services Division of Student Success
University of Louisiana at Lafayette
Position Summary
The Associate Vice President for Enrollment Services (AVPES) serves as a senior leader within the Division of Student Success and provides strategic leadership for the University's enrollment operationsand student-facing administrative services. The AVPES is responsible for developing, implementing, and assessing comprehensiveenrollment service strategies that enhance recruitment, admissions processing, registration, student aid delivery, student records management, orientation, dual enrollment, academic advising, student support services, and customer serviceexcellence.
TheAVPES works collaboratively acrossacademic and administrative units to support the University's enrollment, retention, persistence, andgraduation goals while ensuring aseamless student experience from prospect through graduation and leading intoemployment. The Associate Vice President reports directly to the VicePresident for Student Success.
Primary Responsibilities:
20%     Strategic Leadership
-Develop and execute strategic enrollment service initiatives aligned with the University's enrollment and student success goals.
-Lead efforts to improve operational efficiency, service delivery, and student satisfaction across
enrollment-related functions.
-Establish measurable goals, key performance indicators (KPls), and assessment practices for enrollment services operations.
-Support institutional planning efforts through data-informed decision making and enrollment
analytics.

Provide leadership and oversight for:
-Office of Undergraduate Recruitment
-Office of Credential Services and Transcript Operations
-Office of the University Registrar
-Office of Student Financial Aid
-Office of Scholarships
-Office of Orientation
-Office of University Connection
-Office of Military & Veteran Services
-Office of Academic Success & Student Success Initiatives (includes Learning Support Services, Advising, and the Louisiana Educate Program)
15%    Student Experience and Service Excellence
-Champion a student-centered service model that prioritizes accessibility, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.
-Lead initiatives to streamline enrollment processes and reduce barriers to student enrollment and
progression.
-Implement customer relationship management strategies to improve communication with prospective and current students.
-Promote a culture of service excellence throughout Enrollment Services.
15%    Operational Management
-Ensure compliance with federal, state, Board of Regents, and University policies and regulations.
-Oversee policy development and implementation related to enrollment services functions.
-Manage budgets, personnel, and resources effectively.
-Lead process improvement initiatives utilizing technology and automation solutions.
10%    Data Analytics and Reporting
-Monitor enrollment trends, application pipelines, yield rates, registration activity, and student progression metrics.
-Provide regular reports and recommendations to the Vice President for Student Success and
University leadership.
-Collaborate with Institutional Research to develop enrollment forecasts and strategic analyses.
10%    Collaboration and Partnerships
-Work closely with academic colleges, student services units, and administrative offices to support institutional enrollment and retention goals.
-Develop partnerships with K-12 schools, community colleges, and community organizations.
-Represent the University at professional organizations, conferences, and community events.
10%    Personnel Leadership
-Recruit, supervise, mentor, and evaluate directors and senior staff within Enrollment Services.
-Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.
-Support professional development opportunities for staff.
5%      Other
-Other duties as assigned by the Vice President for Student Success.
