Job description

Overview

Kimley-Horn is looking for an Experienced Revit Operator to join our MEP team in Reno, Nevada, (NV)!

Responsibilities
  • The person in this position will use basic computer drafting software to model mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems to generate site plans and construction drawings for Kimley-Horn projects
  • Designing and producing sets of plans; implementing and managing AutoCAD/REVIT drafting and plan preparation standards
  • Lead cross discipline clash detection process during design
  • Pick up comments during reviews and update design accordingly
  • Assists in maintaining drawing database
  • Performs routine analysis to check accuracy of data
  • Develop familiarity with Kimley-Horn's practices, procedures, and standards
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (associates degree preferred)
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Autodesk, REVIT MEP preferred
  • Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter
  • Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills and desire to learn
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
