We are building out our Product Design team, which sits at the center of our entire product building process. We are looking for motivated, focused, curious designers with deep experience working in SaaS companies shipping exceptional products. As we build more AI-assisted workflows into Standard Metrics, we are also looking for someone who has proven experience using AI tools to strengthen their design process, and ideally has designed AI-enabled product experiences that help users understand, verify, and act on complex information. • Leverage user research, rapid prototyping, AI-assisted workflows, and data insights to identify ways to improve the Standard Metrics platform and user experience
  • Design AI-enabled product experiences for complex B2B workflows, including moments where users need to understand, verify, correct, and trust AI-generated outputs
  • Use AI-assisted design and prototyping tools to accelerate exploration, research synthesis, iteration, critique, and design-to-engineering handoff while maintaining strong product judgment
  • Synthesize design, engineering, product, business, and AI system requirements that underpin complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to define AI behavior, edge cases, confidence signals, feedback loops, evaluation criteria, and rollout strategy
  • Welcome and actively solicit feedback from cross-functional teams and users to build better product experiences and work flows
  • Document and build on design systems as they pertain to your product and providing guidance on cross-product design strategy
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering partners to influence the product roadmap, identify opportunities, and make decisions based on impact to Standard Metrics users
What You'll Bring
  • 7+ years of experience in Product Design
  • Deep B2B SaaS web experience, ideally including startup experience
  • A portfolio showing senior-level product design work for complex workflows, ideally including shipped AI-enabled features
  • Demonstrated fluency using AI tools in the design process, such as for ideation, research synthesis, prototyping, content exploration, design critique, or design-to-code collaboration
  • Strong judgment around AI product UX, including uncertainty, failure states, user correction, source transparency, auditability, and responsible handling of sensitive customer data
  • Experience using Figma, CSS, HTML, React, etc.
  • Collaborative mindset, with experience working across disciplines and with multiple stakeholders (ex: product and marketing managers and engineers)
  • Experience shipping exceptional products at a fast pace
  • Ability to create simple and elegant design solutions to complicated problems
