Description

Summary

The FRU Tester L1 is responsible for testing products and reporting test results. The assignment will range from testing motherboard, memory, CPU, LCD, HDD, Memory and product under test.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Be able to read, write and speak English.
  • Ability to inspect products thoroughly.
  • Perform testing on intended products.
  • Reporting product issue and findings.
  • Do data input when required to store the information.
  • Follow instructions and operational procedures.
  • Meet and exceed KPI defined to meet the business and operational requirements.
  • Must be multi-tasking and adaptable to work on different models and commodities concurrently.
  • Organize test tooling and mockup.
  • Keep and maintain tooling in good condition.
  • Follow 5S standard.
  • Turn in KPI report on time (end of the working day).
  • Check and keep record for ESD Audit daily.
  • Utilize the company's time to be efficient and productive. This includes being punctuality from breaks and personal matters.
  • When required, work assignments can change based on project needs like inspection, solder, testing, and data input.

Warehouse Efficiencies

  • Build and maintain a work environment that is positive and is supported by open feedback and two-way communication at all levels.
  • Keeping warehouse always organized and clean.

Education and/or Experience

  • A+ certification is a plus.
  • Prefer college graduate from computer related field.

Working Conditions

Must be able to tolerate moderate to high noise levels in a warehouse environment. Office and outside environmental conditions found in the warehouse, hot in the summer, cold in the winter. Individuals may need to walk for an extensive period while working and walking the facilities; to reach over shoulder heights; bend or stoop below the waist; repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movement. Able to stand during work hours and push, pull, twist and lift at a minimum 25lbs container/boxes. Requires the physical ability to lift 25 pounds
