About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a proven background in industrial construction supervision to lead complex projects from planning through commissioning. This role requires someone who understands industrial job site conditions, can coordinate field crews, and has hands-on experience working cross functionally in environments such as manufacturing plants, utilities, heavy industrial, food processing, or energy facilities. The ideal candidate has direct supervisory experience in industrial construction, not just office-based project oversight-and can translate field constraints into execution plans that achieve safety, quality, cost, and schedule targets.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full project lifecycle including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, subcontractor management, installation, and closeout.
  • Oversee on-site activities to ensure compliance with safety standards, engineering specifications, and construction best practices.
  • Work directly with field supervisors, contractors, and craft labor to resolve technical issues and maintain project progress.
  • Lead job site meetings, coordinate daily/weekly project activities, and ensure communication flows between the field, engineering, and management.
  • Perform site walks, assess constructability challenges, and proactively mitigate risks.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation (RFIs, change orders, submittals, daily logs, progress reports).
  • Ensure all project work meets industrial standards and regulatory requirements (OSHA, NEC, structural, mechanical, etc.).
  • Drive accountability for project milestones, budget adherence, and resource planning.
  • Serve as the primary customer-facing representative throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications
To ensure applicants have the hands-on industrial background required, candidates must have:
Industrial Construction Experience
  • 3+ years in industrial construction supervision (e.g., Superintendent, Foreman, Lead Installer, Construction Manager).
  • Experience working in manufacturing plants, industrial facilities, or heavy construction environments.
  • Proven ability to lead field crews, subcontractors, and trades in an industrial setting.

Project Management Competency
  • 3+ years managing projects involving mechanical, electrical, structural, or industrial systems.
  • Demonstrated success managing schedules, budgets, procurement, and subcontractors.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, equipment layouts, and technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with refrigeration, utilities, mechanical systems, or process equipment installation.
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • PMP, CM, OSHA 30, or similar certifications.
  • Experience working in small to mid-sized manufacturing plants or industrial environments.

Key Skills
  • Industrial job site leadership
  • Contractor supervision
  • Project scheduling
  • Budget and cost tracking
  • Change management
  • Technical problem-solving
  • Strong communication and field-to-office coordination
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications

Job Type: Full-time on-site w/ 20% travel
Benefits:
  • Health/Dental/Vision Insurance
  • Vacation Time
  • Sick Time
  • Life Insurance
  • Long Term Disability
  • ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan)

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
We look forward to welcoming a new member to our team!
