We deliver infrastructure that keeps communities connected and businesses online.Climb Higher (About the Job) We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support the successful execution of wireless telecommunications projects across macro towers, small cell utility pole installations, and fiber-connected networks. This position plays a vital role in ensuring permitting, invoicing, task tracking, and milestone reporting flow seamlessly - bridging field operations, customers, and the Project Management team.This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in telecom construction management, with exposure to key aspects of infrastructure deployment and growth opportunities into full project leadership.Your Work that Keeps us Connected (Job Responsibilities) Support End-to-End Project Execution for macro sites and small cell deployments-including utility pole installations, fiber drops, and wireless node activations.Coordinate Permitting Submissions and Tracking with municipalities and utilities; ensure required documentation is submitted accurately and on time.Invoice Preparation and Review with close collaboration with finance, PMs, and field teams to validate quantities, dates, and milestone completion.Milestone Tracking via Customer Portals (e.g., Verizon SPID, AT&T Siterra, or proprietary tools); upload documentation, close deliverables, and flag issues proactively.Assist the PM Team by managing day-to-day task updates, RFIs, and internal status reporting.Vendor and Subcontractor Coordination to confirm schedules, deliverables, and field readiness.Data Entry and Schedule Maintenance in project platforms such as Excel, Smartsheet, or Procore.Site File Management-organize, update, and audit documentation for compliance and handoff packages.Customer Communication Support-prepare status updates, meeting notes, and action item trackers.Signal Strength (Qualifications)Preferred Associate or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Telecommunications, or a related field - or equivalent industry experience.Preferred 1-2+ years of experience in telecom, utility construction, permitting, or project coordination roles.Knowledge of wireless infrastructure elements such as macro towers, small cells, and fiber backbone routes is a plus.Proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel), and familiarity with project management tools like Smartsheet, Salesforce or similar platforms.Familiarity with utility permitting, state right-of-way (ROW) processes, and pole attachment regulations is a strong plus.Strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple concurrent tasks.Strong written and verbal communication skills; confident in client and municipal communications.You'll Rise Above if (additional skillset) Experience using customer-facing portals (e.g., Siterra, SPID, Sitetracker).Exposure to wireless carriers (e.g., AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile) and their deployment standards.Background working alongside construction managers or site acquisition teams.
