Job description

The Technical Project Manager role will be accountable for the overall success of the Healthcare Solutions customers during the implementation of new product functions.  They will be responsible for overall implementation strategy, defining roles and responsibilities across the multiple organizations and people involved.  They will coordinate all steps and tasks in the project, including level of effort estimates, quotes, ensuring on-time completion of all aspects, and go-live and customer value achievement.  They will be responsible for the quality of implementation.  They will also be responsible for ensuring the project is completed cost effectively and to the customer's satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customer executive team and lead project stakeholders' relationship.
  • Work proactively and collaboratively with other team members to achieve team goals and establish a culture of success and learning within the team.
  • Quote implementation projects level of effort.
  • Implement agreed project governance, steering, and change control processes.
  • Manage project scope and lead change request negotiations.
  • Build and maintain the project plan.
  • Create and maintain standard project artifacts e.g. Project Charter, Comms plan, RACI matrix, risk log.
  • Maintain the project library.
  • Manage the project budget and be accountable for the project P&L.
  • Produce regular project reports and management updates.
  • Project outcomes Benefits Tracking.
  • Manage lessons learned activities.
  • Work with the ISC Solution Architect/Tech Lead and the implementation partner to ensure all tasks are included in the project plan.
  • Manage the completion of all tasks, including those of the implementation partner according to the timeline.
  • Manage the engagement of the implementation partner, including time management, during the project lifecycle.
  • Manage transition to the Operations and Support teams post go-live.
  • Provide advice and best practices to customer engaged in the deployment of InterSystems solutions.
  • Other duties may be directed by the company from time to time.

  • Ability to work within a team in a cross-cultural environment
  • Available for consultation beyond normal business hours if necessary and willing to travel when required
  • Knowledge and Experience with InterSystems technology is a bonus.

Education:

  • University Degree or 7+ years in related field
