Job description

Overview
We are looking for a Technology Project Manager to join one of our front-office trading technology teams. You will work closely with technical leads, traders, developers, infrastructure teams, market data, networking, operations, and other global stakeholders to support complex technology initiatives.
In this role, you will help technical leads move work through the organization by coordinating across teams, tracking dependencies and risks, driving follow-through, and keeping stakeholders clear on where things stand.
You will develop enough technical and trading context to understand how systems and teams connect, ask informed questions, and recognize issues that may affect delivery.
You will not be responsible for designing systems or solving technical problems on behalf of engineers. Instead, you will support and amplify the technical leads by maintaining an integrated view of the work, coordinating across teams, driving follow-through, and ensuring that stakeholders have a clear and accurate understanding of project status.
In this role, you will:
  • Partner with technical leads, traders, developers, engineers, market data, infrastructure, networking, operations, and other stakeholders to support cross-functional technology initiatives.
  • Coordinate work across teams and maintain a clear view of project status, ownership, milestones, dependencies, risks, and decisions.
  • Build sufficient technical and trading context to understand project objectives, system relationships, and upstream and downstream impacts.
  • Track commitments, follow up on open items, and ensure that actions, owners, and next steps are clear.
  • Identify missing dependencies, unclear ownership, conflicting assumptions, and delivery risks.
  • Help distinguish progress on individual components from end-to-end readiness, including integration, testing, monitoring, and operational support.
  • Provide concise updates to technical and non-technical stakeholders on current status, key risks, required decisions, and expected next steps.
  • Facilitate meetings, document decisions and actions, and escalate issues when agreed objectives or timelines are at risk.
  • Partner with Business Managers and other stakeholders when business, regulatory, operational, or vendor-driven initiatives create technology requirements.
  • Maintain project tracking and documentation using tools such as Jira and Confluence.

What we're looking for
Required
  • Five or more years of experience in technical project management, technical program management, business analysis, systems analysis, or a related project-execution role.
  • Experience supporting complex initiatives across multiple technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to quickly understand technical systems, dependencies, data flows, and upstream and downstream impacts at a level sufficient to coordinate work effectively.
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills, including tracking owners, dates, risks, blockers, decisions, and commitments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to turn fragmented technical updates into a clear view of project status, ownership, risks, and next steps.
  • Confidence asking informed questions, challenging unclear answers, and identifying gaps without overstepping technical ownership.
  • Strong judgment and the ability to drive progress across teams without direct authority.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where priorities and timelines may change.
  • Experience with project tracking and documentation tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Ability to work from our Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania office and participate in periodic international travel, generally a few times per year, depending on business and project needs.
  • Flexibility to occasionally work outside standard local business hours to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across EMEA and APAC.

Preferred
  • Experience in trading technology, financial systems, market data, infrastructure, production engineering, or another real-time technical environment.
  • Experience coordinating across software development, systems engineering, infrastructure, networking, or production-support teams.
  • Experience working with globally distributed technical teams.
  • A technical, engineering, information systems, or analytical background.
  • Familiarity with data analysis, scripting, automation, or related technical tools.
  • Familiarity with AI tools or experience using AI to improve analysis, documentation, workflow efficiency or project execution

Visa sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position now or in the future.
