Hiring: Experienced Technical Project Manager

IMPORTANT:

MEP P6 / Primavera P6 experience is REQUIRED for this role.

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to join us for a 6-month contract opportunity in San Jose, CA. This is a 100% onsite position.

Job Title: Technical Project Manager

Location: San Jose, CA

Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite

Mandatory Requirement

MEP P6 / Primavera P6 experience is required. Please apply only if you have hands‑on experience with Primavera P6 in an MEP environment.

Required Skills and Experience
  • 7+ years of direct, full-time Project Management experience with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects
  • Hands‑on experience with MEP P6 / Primavera P6
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Experience managing project plans, timelines, scope, risks, issues, and budgets
  • Experience with project progress and metrics reporting for project teams and customers
  • Ability to work with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
  • Strong ability to balance critical issue resolution and competing priorities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to collaborate with business analysts, business users, architects, client stakeholders, project managers, and sponsors
  • Consulting experience is a plus
  • PMI, PRINCE2, Agile, or related project management training/certification is preferred
  • Experience with OCM tools and techniques is a plus

The ideal candidate will be able to take ownership of projects from start to finish, manage project plans and scope changes, drive issue resolution, monitor risks and progress, and ensure successful delivery within schedule and budget.
