About the Role
CTG is seeking a smart, motivated, and resourceful Associate Technical Recruiter to join our growing team. You will support full-cycle recruiting for technical and non-technical positions across government contracts, proposals, and new program efforts. The ideal candidate has experience managing the entire recruitment process, from sourcing and screening to interviewing, negotiating, and onboarding. We are seeking an individual who is passionate about identifying top talent, supporting company growth, and helping individuals build fulfilling careers.

You'll play a key role in shaping our team and representing CTG in the competitive world of government contracting. You Will Get To
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for technical and non-technical roles from application review to onboarding
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies using job boards (LinkedIn, Clearance Jobs), networking, and referrals.
  • Screen candidates for technical fit, culture alignment, and other requirements of the specific role
  • Partner with hiring managers and program leaders to understand role requirements, timelines, and advise on the best hiring strategy
  • Write clear, compliant job descriptions aligned with contract requirements.
  • Support proposal efforts by identifying contingent candidates
  • Maintain and manage candidate pipelines in our Applicant Tracking System
  • Maintain accurate recruiting metrics via our Applicant Tracking System
  • Support CTG's recruiting-focused employer branding efforts, including social media and outreach campaigns, to attract top talent.
  • Maintain a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Stay informed about government contracting (GovCon) hiring trends, labor market shifts, and clearance-related news.
  • Train and develop CTG's team of interviewers.

Qualifications
  • Priority given to candidates located in the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) area.
  • Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience, with at least 1 year focused on technical or GovCon roles
  • Experience using ATS platforms, job boards, and sourcing tools
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with a proven ability to improve and streamline recruiting processes
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills, business acumen, and critical thinking
  • Ability to understand and discuss security clearance requirements with candidates
  • Commitment to providing a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
Nice to Have
  • Experience using Greenhouse as an ATS
  • Proven success recruiting for cleared roles, including Secret, TS, TS/SCI, and CI Poly positions
  • Familiarity with federal government contracting requirements, including proposal-based recruiting and compliance considerations
  • Background in technical recruiting or direct experience in the technology industry
  • Strong professional references, especially important for candidates with shorter prior tenures
  • Personable, collaborative, and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment
