Protiviti is looking for aTechnology ConsultingSenior Consultant to join our growingIT Infrastructureteam.

As a Senior Consultant, you will be a mentor, trainer, and coach to Interns and Consultants as youfacilitatethe successful completion of project work plans.You'llidentifyareas of risk and opportunities to increase efficiency.You'llstrengthen relationships and deepen your abilities to communicate, gain trust, and network with client personnel and professional associates. At the direction of Managers, you may accept responsibility for decision-making in areas including establishing project scope and work plans, project staffing, preparation of deliverables, and application of methodologies.

Do Your Talents Include the Following?

Experience with or understanding of:

• ImplementingIT systems spanning multiple operational domains (infrastructure, applications, network, cloud/onprem).

• Understanding ofcurrent enterprise design patterns and norms for basic networking capabilities/concepts (e.g.TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN segmentation, routing and switching, wireless).

• Proven ability to document and rationalize complex or undocumented environments, including creation of dependency maps, architecture diagrams, and system inventories.

• Conducting application rationalization and dependency mapping initiatives.

• Recent hands-on experience administrating both Windows Server and Linux operating systems.

• Implementing oradministering enterprise backup, replication, and continuity solutions for servers, storage, and applications.

• Skilled in capacity planning, performance analysis, and VM/serverrightsizing.

• Familiarity with SMB-scale,on-premises infrastructure technologies.

• Working familiarity with hypervisor platforms (e.g.VMware vSphere/ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV, or others).

• Enterprisenetwork design, deployment, and administration experience.

• Background working with major enterprise networking and security vendors such as Cisco, Meraki, HPE/Aruba, Juniper, Extreme, Brocade, Palo Alto, and Fortinet.

• Ability to translate business, compliance, vendor, and partner requirements into actionable technical solutions and system configurations.

• Experience converting business continuity and disaster recovery requirements into technical architecture and implementation plans.

• IntegratingIT systems inpostmergeror acquisition environments.

• Coordinating with and managingthirdpartyhardware, software, and service vendors.

• Evaluating, summarizing, organizing, and interpretingdata.

• Supervisory experience of teams including mentoring, oversight and review of work, coordination across teams, and understanding how to motivate.

Your Educational and Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree ina relevantdiscipline (e.g.,CIS, IS orrelated field).

• 2+ years workingin professional services orindustry.

• Proficiencyin Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word,Exceland PowerPoint. Secondary emphasis on Visio and Access.

• Professional Certification such asMicrosoft Azurepreferred.

The ratio of remote to in-person requirementsvaryby client, project, team, and other business factors. Our people work bothin-personin local Protiviti offices and on client sites, which can include local or out-of-state travel based on our projects and client requests and commitments.
