Get to Know Your Team:

  • Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women's Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.
  • Responsible for operating the CT scanner safely and proficiently.
  • Obtain a high standard of imaging and positioning.
  • Coordinate patient prepping and scanning to maximize smooth patient flow.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions and be able to start an IV line to administer contrast fluids.
  • Transport patients to and from the department.
  • Handle telephone scheduling procedures and operate the PACS computer system.

Job Requirements:

  • Technical or Associate's radiography degree.
  • Must be registered or registry eligible with the ARRT.
    • Maintain registry while employed.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
