Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator IV - Microsoft 365 for a 12-month hybrid opportunity in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This senior-level technical role will provide end-to-end administration, engineering, governance, and operational support across an enterprise Microsoft 365 environment.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Systems Administrator IV will serve as a senior technical resource responsible for the reliability, security, governance, licensing, and continued evolution of the Microsoft 365 platform. The role requires deep hands-on expertise across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and Microsoft Entra ID, along with the ability to provide Tier 3 support and technical leadership across the organization.
This position will also monitor Microsoft's product roadmap, evaluate emerging capabilities, guide testing and production readiness, manage enterprise identity and access controls, and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions that improve organizational processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead end-to-end administration, engineering, licensing, and governance of the Microsoft 365 platform
Administer Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Copilot, and Microsoft Entra ID
Manage Microsoft 365 E3/E5 licensing and support effective license governance and optimization
Build and configure SharePoint sites and manage permissions and security
Monitor the Microsoft 365 roadmap and evaluate emerging capabilities for business value and security fit
Guide testing, staging, and production readiness for new Microsoft 365 capabilities
Provide Tier 3 production support for the Microsoft 365 environment
Lead root-cause analysis and post-incident reviews for critical platform issues
Document technical solutions and implement improvements that strengthen system reliability
Manage enterprise identity and access through Microsoft Entra ID
Administer SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, privileged access controls, identity governance, and permissions reviews
Strengthen platform security and compliance through Microsoft Purview, data classification, DLP, retention, eDiscovery, and Insider Risk Management
Perform security hardening before major platform changes and feature rollouts
Analyze business and technical requirements and design scalable Microsoft 365 solutions
Collaborate across technical and business teams to integrate and improve business processes
Present technical recommendations and business value to stakeholders and leadership
Provide technical leadership and mentorship within the broader IT team
Participate in rotating 24/7 on-call support for critical Priority 1 production incidents
